"Anxious, Nervous and Imperfect" is literally my acceptance of self, my career and my faults. Those faults, when embraced, can be really beautiful. This song took years of therapy and assumed failures to write and it still makes me shed a thug tear when I listen to it. I wanted the video to have a very intimate feel that was a contrast to the sadness. Chris Time Steele edited it and he did a great job conveying my words into images. We shot at the Hewing in the North Loop, in a friend's backyard and at one of my favorite studios. These are all places I love being.
